General
The DiMarzio DP180 Air Norton S is a single coil pickup based on the larger Air Norton humbucker pickup. This single coil gives a warm, balanced sound and has almost the same sound characteristics as the original variant. This single coil works very well in the bridge position for various rock music styles, due to its combination of medium output and harmonic overtones. In the neck position, this element works well with the Tone Zone or a Super Distortion in the bridge.
