General
With the DiMarzio DP188 Pro Track, you get a single coil humbucker that is perfect for jazz music styles. The pickup has a much smoother response in the high end than most vintage humbuckers, making it very fine for jazz and high-gain solos in the neck position. Basically a PAF pickup, in a single coil housing. The pickup has enough output to work well in basically any position of the guitar, and the twin-blades ensure that there are no dropouts or string tuning problems. If you use this pickup in the neck position and complement it with a Fast Track 2 in the bridge position, you can also get a very good and versatile rock sound out of it.
