The DiMarzio DP219 D Activator Neck guitar pickup delivers a full, rich tone with tight bass and a clear attack. Unlike comparable active humbuckers, this passive D Activator is highly sensitive and dynamic. The best way to describe the D Activator's sound is big, bright and open with a surprisingly good string-to-string balance. The DiMarzio D Activator Neck is designed to give a sparkling bright sound that in no way ends up sounding thin or icy. Although this pickup is made for the neck position, it is also possible to install the pickup in the bridge position, if you are looking for a more powerful sound.
