EMG SA Ivory Active Single-Coil Guitar Pickup

The EMG SA is an active single-coil guitar element based on an alnico V magnet, designed for single-coil electric guitars that could use a lot of a solid quality boost in terms of amplified sound. This pickup delivers the classic sparkling ST-style sounds with warm mids and full, deep basses. Thanks in part to internal shielding and a low impedance preamp, you have single-coil guitar sounds at your disposal without unwanted noise and hum.

SA: versatility, stability and reliability for any scenario and many styles

The bar magnet of this single-coil element ensures that the sound and output remain stable for even the more extended string bend. Whether you play blues, rock, jazz or pop, the EMG SA offers versatility, stability and reliability in every playing scenario. So it's no wonder guitar legends like Gilmour and Knopfler love playing on a configuration that includes at least 2 SAs. The EMG solderless wiring system makes it easy to install 1 or more of this high-quality guitar element. When doing so, however, make sure that the cavity in your guitar body is large enough to accommodate this SA pickup.

• Different active element manufacturers use different proprietary solderless systems. The EMG quick connect system is therefore not compatible with solderless systems from other manufacturers.
