Back in the day, you were welcome to replace a single-coil pup with a standard humbucker, it just meant having to drill into the body of your beloved guitar to widen the routing and get the thing mounted. With the Seymour Duncan SL59-1N Little '59 humbucker, that just isn't an issue. This little powerhouse of a pickup packs all of the iconic, medium output sound of a legendary P.A.F. dual-coil from 1959 away in a slim single-coil housing. While voiced for the neck position, the Little '59 serves just as well in the middle position and, since it features four-conductor wiring, coil-split switching is fully supported, so you can flip between thick humbucker sound and sparkling single-coil sound at the literal flick of a switch.
