General

Those who used to want to get that wonderful humbucker sound out of their ST-model electric guitar had to attack the body with fairly brute force. The cutouts for single-coil elements are smaller than those for full-size humbuckers. With the SL59-1 Little '59 you don't have this problem. This little powerhouse from Seymour Duncan gives you everything you'd expect from that classic humbucker with that 1959 P.A.F.-style guitar sound, but in a modest single-coil-style body. This is the SL59-1n for the neck, but you can also use it in the middle position. Also, this pickup is equipped with a 4-wire cable, which, among other things, also makes it suitable for coil splitting. So besides fat humbucker sounds, you can still enjoy a single-coil-like sparkle with the right connection.
