Celestion G12M Greenback guitar speaker 12-inch 25W 8-ohm

General

Most rock guitarists with a vintage Marshall amp love to have several Celestion G 12M Greenbacks in their 4x12 cabinet. It's a 12-inch 25W guitar speaker that is a mainstay in the setups of many famous musicians since the sixties! The bass of the G12M is full yet controlled, while its mids are warm and its trebles defined. It is an excellent speaker for getting that distinct vintage crunch!

The full, yet clear G12M Greenback

With its ceramic magnet, the G12M speakers have been providing guitarists with a luscious crunch in the mid range since 1966. If you push them to the edge, then you can even create a pleasant compression of the bass levels. The Greenback was a modern alternative to Alnico speakers back in the day, giving guitarists a fuller tone while retaining clarity - characteristics that are appreciated by rock and blues guitarists to this day.

You can rest assured that it was hand-built with the finest materials and components

The Celestion G12M Greenback has a loud assertive character. It sounds great when paired with a valve amplifier that is driven to distortion. Through the years, this speaker has undergone several changes. However, the G12M still features the familiar warm and open sound with plenty of clarity and punch to pierce through the band mix. It's also hand-made with the best materials and components for a reliable, unrivalled sound.
