Boss SY-300 Guitar Synthesizer

Product information

Product no: 9000-0017-8710

General

Until recently, you needed an extra pickup and a 13-pin cable to be able to use a guitar synthesizer. You don't need these any more, however, as the BOSS SY-300 does things differently. All you need for this guitar synthesizer is a standard instrument cable! As well as that, it even works well together with the other pedals you have on your pedal board. In short, the BOSS SY-300 only offers you all the advantages of a guitar synthesizer. It makes a world of new sounds possible without all the hassle of needing extra accessories to do so.

sound

It is virtually impossible to list all of the sounds and possibilities of this guitar synthesizer in this product description. What you get is an analogue-style synthesizer with three separate sections. These give you more than enough possibilities to create the most extraordinary sounds. It's possible to manipulate, filter, and change the pitch of sound waves with different LFOs and oscillators. Everything you do happens without any latency problems. BOSS has even included four effects sections for guitarists. Classic effects like overdrive, distortion, delay, reverb and modulation are included, as well as effects like BOSS slow gear and slicer.

construction

The SY-300's four solid true bypass foot switches are further evidence that this synthesizer pedal is specially designed for guitar and bass players. Its relatively compact dimensions also mean that it's suitable for integrating into your pedal board. On the rear of the SY-300 are a range of connection possibilities, including jack and MIDI inputs and outputs, and a USB port. A standard BOSS 2.10 mm power input also means that the synthesizer is easy to integrate into your existing setup. The versatile USB input means that you can gain access to the BOSS Tone Central database and transfer tracks to your DAW easily for further manipulation. As you can tell, the SY-300 is a versatile companion whether you are in the studio or on the stage.

Boss SY-300 Guitar Synthesizer
