Roland's new FD-9 hi-hat control pedal is for anyone who's ever had complaints that the noise of the pedals on their electronic drum kit are just too noisy. Compared to the FD-8, the FD-9 reduces noise by 50% in the same room and by 15% to rooms below. Roland have taken care to ensure that the pedal responds naturally thanks to a patent-pending link mechanism that also delivers smooth transitions between open, half-open and closed positions. Sensitivity can be adjusted by using the spring.

The pedal's design is very compact which makes it easy to incorporate into your setup. With adjustable feet and a toe stopper, stability and comfort are assured when playing. The FD-9 can be used with the modules from the V drum series provided they are equipped with 1/4-inch trigger inputs. It can also be used in combination with all of Roland's electronic percussion products. You might want to consider purchasing Roland's KT-9 Kick Trigger pedal, Noise Eaters and Mesh Heads while you're at it so you'll never have to deal with noise complaints again.

Heb je een elektronisch drumstel, wordt er nog geklaagd over het gebonk van de basedrum. Daarom de
FD-09 besteld omdat ik erover las dat dit de stilste en beste is. En mijn ervaring is gewoon goed. Doet niet onder voor een standaard pedaal qua gevoel of speelbaarheid. vind ik. Kan ook worden ingesteld met bepaald gewicht om licht of wat zwaarder te moeten bespelen. Zeker geen spijt van en van gebonk of geluid is nu helemaal geen sprake meer qua basedrum. Maar goed, hoor ik mijn vrouw nu weer over het getik op de pads. Zucht......

Na enige maanden wachten heb ik mijn Roland FD -09 hi hat ontvangen het is een geweldig ding ben heel blij mee had het eerder aan moet schaffen . Deze pedaal was de vervanger van het pedaal van mijn van drum set TD 07

gekocht ter vervanging van een oude FD-8, die niet zo accuraat reageerde... Deze pedaal daarentegen is prima! Voelt / speelt haast als bij een akoestische hihat... Heel tevreden mee!
