General

The Istanbul Agop 16" Traditional Dark Hi-Hats are among the thinnest models in the Traditional Series and offer an expressive sound characterised by a dark, lower tone. These hi-hats are entirely hand-hammered and lathed on both the top and bottom, which contributes to rich, warm overtones and a distinct musical character. When played open, they produce a controlled, full sound, whilst when closed they produce a richer, softer ‘chick’. Previously known as the “Traditional Light”, these hi-hats are suitable for a wide range of musical styles, from subtle jazz to expressive pop and rock, thanks to their versatile sound.
