General

The highly reliable LD Systems U505 IEM in-ear monitoring system comes from the highly regarded U500 Series, operates on the 584-608 MHz frequency range, and is made with professional use in mind. Even semi-pros will be able to get to grips with the simple configuration of this system. The U500 uses between 12 and 96 channels, has a variable output of 2, 10 or 30 mW RF, and infrared synchronisation between the transmitter and receiver is done with superb ease.

The U505 IEM: Even More Options

The OLED displays fitted to both the transmitter and belt-pack receiver can be customised with your own user-name and space is provided for up to ten presets. A good quality three-band EQ with parametric mids, a switch-adjustable limiter and 'squelch' circuit are also included for fine-tuning, and a set of headphones can be hooked up to the receiver for direct front-end monitoring. A mono or stereo signal can also be selected as needed and the combi XLR-jack ports offer all the connection options you're going to need.

Wrote the following about LD Systems U505 IEM In-Ear Monitor System (584 - 608 MHz)

Nu een aantal weken in huis. Uitvoerig getest en voldoet prima als in-ear monitor systeem. Het bereik is goed zeker op 30mW. Voldoende kanalen en instelmogelijkheden. De geluidskwaliteit is redelijk. Via mijn High End in-ear koptelefoon hoor ik zeker dat het geen A-merk is. Persoonlijk merk ik namelijk dat de bandbreedte van het geluid beperkt is, net als dat je hoort dat het draadloos wordt verstuurd.

Bij testen om het geluid van bv een laptop (MacBook Pro) draadloos te versturen naar de PA-mixer hoor je zeker dat de geluidskwaliteit minder is (note: anders dan normaal gebruik).

Eindelijk had deze mooie IN EAR Set al sinds januari in backorder staan Adam Hall melde elke keer dat ze door Covid-19 niet konden leveren zelfs zo erg dat Bax-Shop er zo klaar mee was dat het hele product niet meer geleverd zou gaan worden. Gelukkig hebben ze toch de backorders nog binnen gekregen. Dus hier een blij Man... De LD Systems IEM U505 is super geschikt als betaalbare in ear. Heeft een grote aantal frequentie mogelijkheden en is ook in te stellen naar 30mW wat ook weer fijn is als je soms iets langere afstanden moet overbruggen.

In deze prijsklasse is er niet veel anders leverbaar dus ik hoop voor iedereen die een betaalbare IN EAR Set wil dat Bax-Shop toch weer met Adam Hall zaken gaat doen anders moet je het dubbele betalen voor een Shure of Sennheiser.
