Looking for an inexpensive but reliable in-ear monitor system? Part of the U50 Series, the LD Systems U508 IEM operates on the band-gap and ISM Frequency bands and sets you up with 12 to 96 channels and switchable transmission power (2mW / 10mW / 30mW). This version also allows for simultaneous, interference-free use of up to six systems.

The U508 IEM: Lots of Options

The U508 IEM comes crammed with options, most of which are simply accessed via the fitted OLED display. You can set a user-name, save up to 10 custom presets, toggle the limiter, operate the 'squelch' circuit, and more. The transmitter even features its own headphone output for direct monitoring, while the integrated 3-band EQ with parametric mid control is no doubt the icing on this bang-for-your-buck cake.

Wrote the following about LD Systems U508 IEM In-Ear Monitor System (Bandgap + ISM)

Deze set gekocht om binnen de huidige projecten IEM te kunnen gebruiken. In het verleden heb ik hiermee ervaring opgedaan, maar dit ging altijd via een professionele AV verhuurder. Deze set presteert gewoon goed, heb deze tijdens een gig in een typische band setting goed kunnen testen. Goede geluids kwaliteit, geen waarneembare ruis en-/of interferentie. Ik gebruik zelf goede custom oortjes met een hoge gevoeligheid en goede isolatie van het podiumgeluid. Als bassist zijnde is het geen probleem om het volledige bereik van mijn 5-snarige basgitaar te horen. En de rest van de mix natuurlijk :).
