Applied Acoustics Systems, or AAS release the third generation Chromaphone: a unique virtual instrument that you get to build and tweak. Here, you pluck virtual strings to adjust the string dampening, hit diaphragms to alter their flexibility and decide whether you want the beaters to strike with full force or a little less. Whatever you do, the result is highly dynamic compared to static samples. To give you an idea, Chromaphone 3 covers various 'models' to work with, including strings, round diaphragms, open valves and numerous effects to polish things up with. AAS Chromaphone 3 is cut out for sound designers who aren't afraid of in-depth features and functions as well as any producer who simply wants to put over 1,100 samples directly at their disposal.
