Voltage Modular is software that lets you build your own modular synthesisers using modular components. In hardware, of course, this concept has existed for ages, but that's quite pricey. In software form, of course, it is much more affordable. Besides, if you are a bit technical, you can programme components yourself. What you then see is that new modular components appear, which is what happened in the first year. Cherry Audio has put these releases together in the Year One Collection. This is a colourful collection with extensive components, such as complete filter modules (including TB-303). That way, you can assemble a complete synth very quickly because the main components are already made for you. It's very nice stuff for sound-tweakers, let that be the final conclusion!
