A really nice Kontakt instrument that makes loops easy is always welcome. This opening sentence will apply to many dozens of Kontakt instruments. Perhaps hundreds if we include all the freebies. Such instruments then come with a set of sounds, for example a vintage drum machine. But do we need the same old sounds again in a library today? So Blanks itself has no sounds on board! Instead, the idea is that you drag/drop your own samples onto Blanks. To this end, you get eight slots, with a lot of sound editing options for each slot. You also get eight step-time sequencers, so you will experience the vibe of the past. Who is this plug-in for? Well, for people who really want to programme an x0x-style loop with their own sound. Who knows, you might have a mountain of human beatbox samples of your own lying around. Who knows you use FM synthesis for your drums. Who knows, you might grab isolated drums from old records.
