General

Tone2 Rayblaster 2 is a quirky synthesiser. Things that are familiar from other synthesisers, such as the use of filters, are solved quite differently in Rayblaster. At its core, this synth is all about very short pieces of audio that are turned into oscillators. Combining several of these oscillators creates the sound you can work with. In practice, it is a matter of shifting formants to arrive at a sound. The sound can be well summarised as atmospheric, alienating, raw and creepy. With very conventional sounds at the other end of the scale. In Rayblaster 2, you get all this, and everything in between. An extraordinary synthesiser for curious sound-designers!
