You've probably heard of a prepared piano. These are pianos with all kinds of objects attached to or between the strings, such as paper, clothes pegs and coins. It often produces unusual and sometimes very useful sounds. However, this privilege is not the exclusive territory of pianos; you can also play some fun shenanigans with guitars. The VIR2 Fractured: Prepared Acoustic Guitar is a library that reflects this. Think, for instance, about sheep over the strings with mallets, nails and cardboard. Oh, and when the rice runs out: those grains are probably in and around the guitar, because they recorded it that way too. You won't play the Concierto de Aranjuez with it, but if you like creepy and unusual sounds - in a film context, for instance - this is a special and very fun library!
