While the ultra-clean lay-out doesn't exactly make it look like a traditional Roland keyboard, the GO:KEYS 3 definitely offers Roland-grade performance thanks to the built-in ZEN-Core engine — the same sound engine that you can find under the hood of the Japanese brand's high-end synths and stage pianos.
The Roland GO:KEYS 3
As minimalistic as it may look in terms of physical controls, the Roland GO:KEYS 3 is nothing short of fully loaded when it comes to sounds and rhythms. For a start, you're looking at more than 1,100 sounds plus 74 drum kits and over 200 rhythms. What's more, this tight little keyboard can be upgraded with Z-Style Packs and Sound Packs from the Roland Cloud, which means it's fully future-proof.
Other Highlights
As befits a modern bit of kit, the GO:KEYS features Bluetooth, a built-in USB audio-interface and a USB-MIDI interface, supports WAV/MP3 playback from USB sticks, and has been crammed with a mass of effects and rhythms. Since it weighs less than four kilos, has built-in speakers and can run on eight AA batteries, it's a great choice for roaming musicians as well as for beginners who want to get off to a good start.

Erg leuk en strak vormgegeven keyboard in frisse kleuren. Ideaal voor mensen die graag liedjes willen schrijven en er toch voor weinig geld een begeleiding hebben. De sounds klinken allemaal zoals de grotere duurdere Roland synthesizers omdat de oorsprong van de geluiden hetzelfde zijn. Hier houdt echter de vergelijking op want de D.A conversie op dit keyboard , is niet te vergelijken met de professionele lijn van Roland. De herinneringen aan de MT32 komen te boven. D50 sounds voor een scheet en drie knikkers, niet dus. Alle waar naar zijn geld, ruissluiertjes aan het eind van ieder geluid en een beperktere dynamiek. Voor de rest de toetsen hebben een soort ivoor structuur die fijn aanvoelt en vlot speelt. Het verschil tussen de 3 en 5 zijn de microfoon ingang , links recht uit en import van wavefiles. Top ding voor het geld.

Dit is een super keyboard voor iedereen die wil beginnen met keyboard spelen en iedereen die alles uit zijn of haar keyboard wil halen. De toetsaanslag is solide, je hebt functies te over en deze opties zorgen ervoor dat je je eigen creativiteit gaat gebruiken. Hiernaast is hij ook heel handig mee te nemen en is een echte eyecatcher, waar hij ook staat!
