A few years back, Yamaha released a trio of keyboards, strongly related in content. A new generation is now available for this trio: the Yamaha EZ-310, PSR EW-320 and PSR E383. In this spot, we talk about the EZ-310, the easiest of the three. Mind you, in terms of features they hardly differ, the easy part is in the tutorial. These keyboards fall under the entry-level, they are pre-eminently keyboards for starters. By the way, not by being limited or overly childish. All are full-fledged keyboards, but specifically this EZ-310 has something ideal for all those starters: light-up keys. So lights illuminate under the keyboard keys so you know which keys to hit to keep a song alive.
It is an all-round keyboard with more than 600 sounds, a large number of effects, 260 styles (rhythms with accompaniment) and more. Look, there are entry-level keyboards that can't do much, and you might find them in the supermarket aisle. Not these Yamaha keyboards, this is simply a step (or two) higher when you consider the quality. Starters really do hear the difference in quality. By the way, the keyboard also works as an audio interface, so you can connect it to the computer via USB and the sound flows into the computer via the USB cable. Furthermore: easy operation, convincing sound quality, a modest recorder, the possibility to connect an external sound source. On all counts, an impressive starter, and actually the term 'starter' doesn't even do justice to the EZ-310's capabilities.
