The AKG C4000 is a high-quality multi-pattern large-diaphragm microphone. This model has been around for a few years and has been regularly improved by AKG's R&D department, resulting in a microphone with a warm natural sound with an extremely high headroom and low self-noise. The C400 can be used for vocals and instruments in studio as well as live applications.

C4000: switchable pickup pattern

Thanks to the double diaphragm of the AKG C4000, you can adjust the pickup pattern of the microphone to cardioid, hyper-cardioid or omnidirectional. The attenuation pad allows you to attenuate the signal with 10 dB. The C4000 can handle a high sound pressure and does not really suffer from distortion, so that you can use the microphone for extremely loud sound sources. The AKG C4000 is delivered including an H85 shockmount and a windshield.
