German brand AKG is a manufacturer of microphones for professional applications. This CK77-WR is an extremely small, omnidirectional lavalier microphone. Thanks to the omnidirectional capsule, the microphone offers the same sound quality from all directions. Double diaphragm
This lavalier uses a double-diaphragm capsule, which has been designed to protect the voice coil against moisture, sweat and salt. This comes in very handy when you are using this lavalier in the theatre, where the actors are usually sweating because of all the warm lighting.
