I tried to save money by buying cheap and purchased a couple of lav mics, one from Ebay and one directly from China. After waitng for them to arrive I was very dissappointed in their performance. I already have a Rode Wireless Go, so decided to go for the Rode lav mic as well. Bax was the best price I could find so ordered from here. Now I have it I am glad I purchased from Bax. They kept me up to date on the delivery and I have not been dissappointed in its performance. My audio is now up to speed and I wouod not hesitate to recommend Bax and Rode.

Wel een waarschuwing voor mensen die net als ik alleen ervaring hebben met "gewone" (condensator-)microfoons: dit type microfoons hebben zogenaamde input-power nodig (deze 2.7V). Als je 'm op een audio interface wilt aansluiten heb je de Rode VXLR+ convertor nodig. Deze zet fantom power om naar 3-5V input power. Het kan dus niet met de goedkopere VXLR (zonder +)! Ook niet met andere TRS->XLR adapters, want die leveren dus geen input-power.
Er is ook een VXLR Pro, maar die levert 4V en dat lijkt me toch wat veel voor dit dingetje (maar goed, ik heb er dus geen verstand van).
Kostte me nogal wat tijd om uit te zoeken. Bij Bax Amsterdam wisten ze het ook niet en hebben ze me uiteindelijk een nieuwe meegegeven, omdat we dachten dat ie stuk was. Input power is buiten de AV-wereld niet echt bekend... Hopelijk heeft iemand hier wat aan om niet mijn speurtocht te hoeven herhalen. Informatie hierover is niet superduidelijk, ook niet bij Rode zelf.
