General
The Cort G250 LH is a left-handed ST-style electric guitar that looks just a bit fresher with its striking offset-like appearance, which also makes it appear just a bit more compact than that more traditional body shape. What's more, this G Series lefty solidbody is also perfectly affordable. By the way, when you amplify it, you don't just have that nice versatile HSS configuration via the 5-way element switch. In fact, next to the volume potentiometer, you will find another tone knob with push/pull functionality. This allows you to coil-tap the Alnico V bridge humbucker when you pull it out.
G250 LH: plenty of choice of singlecoil sounds as well as heavy rocking with the humbucker
This also gives you single-coil sounds in this position for those moments you want to match the sounds of the Cort Alnico V singlecoils in the middle and neck positions. Push it down again and you immediately have that full double-coil guitar sound again at the bridge for heavy rocking, for example. Thanks to the beveled heel at the screw joint between the limewood body and solid maple neck, this gutsy G250 plays away extra comfortably up to high on the neck. The stable 2-point tremolo ensures you can perform solid tremolo effects without too fast string drift.
