DR Strings' MD-11 are phosphor bronze strings for mandolin known for their long-lasting bright sound that is both warm and dynamic at the same time. So they are ideal for providing this traditional instrument with the best sound characteristics. Of course, it is always a good idea to change your strings regularly to keep sound as good as possible, but this set of 8 strings has been specially developed to last a long time and keep sounding clear for a long time. Thanks to high quality base materials and meticulous handmade construction, they stay fresh for longer. This is a medium set with thicknesses from .011 inch to .040 inch that plays comfortably.
