Dipped in a classic Tobacco Sunburst, the Ortega RMFE40SBK F-Style Series Mandolin boasts the rich and articulated sound of a solid spruce soundboard combined with a maple body, maple neck and a rosewood fretboard. Supported by a two-way truss rod, this reliable stage-ready mandolin can be adjusted and set up at will. Fitted with an Ortega Bridge Piëzo passive pickup complete volume and tone pots, this model sounds just as good plugged into an acoustic amplifier or PA system, and as a sweet bonus, it comes bundled up with a fully-padded deluxe gig bag made of heavy-duty nylon and finished with padded shoulder straps and two accessory pockets.

Wrote the following about Ortega RMFE40SBK F-Style Series Mandolin Black Electro-Acoustic with Gig Bag

Cette mandoline répond parfaitement à l'utilisation que j'en fait en musique country et celte. Je ne ferai qu'un reproche, qui aurait dû être corrigé avant l'envoi. Les cordes étaient beaucoup trop hautes. Avec une ponceuse à bande, j'ai dû réduire la hauteur du chevalet en bakélite d'environ 5 mm pour qu'elle devienne jouable aisément. Maintenant, elle est parfaite.
