If the volume of your bass drum is too high during rehearsals, the 22-inch Remo Silentstroke bass drumhead offers a perfect solution! You can place the sturdy single-ply drumhead on your drum shell like an ordinary drumhead and when it is in place, you will be provided with a sound that is much softer than the sound that your original drumhead produced. This is great if you live in a densely populated area and don't want to wake the neighbours. It is also great for beginning drummers, as these usually don't have the technique to play softly yet.

Werkt super! Zeer laag volume, en voelt vrijwel hetzelfde als een 'echt' vel. Gebruik het zelf omdat ik in een appartement woon en graag de buren te vriend houd. Ideale oplossing!

Aangezien drummen toch een hobby is met veel lawaai en ik graag een goed contact wil houden met de buren heb ik deze silent stroke vellen gekocht, ik twijfelde nadat ik aan aantal youtube video's had gezien aangezien ze daarin in toch nog wel harder klinken maar toch de gok gewaagt en ze zijn echt super. niet hard en voelt super aan.
had ik al veel eerder moeten doen, heerlijk om thuis op mijn eigen drumkit te oefenen zonder dat het hele huis er last van heeft.
eigenlijk is het enige mindere puntje dat de rebound anders aanvoelt maar daar stoor ik me verder niet aan.

Als je in stilte wil drummen is dit een goede oplossing voor de toms. Werkelijk bijna geen geluid! Wat mij betreft zelfs iets teveel demping. De rebound is iets sterker dan gewone vellen. Bekkens dempen blijft daarentegen natuurlijk een lastig verhaal. Daar heb ik nog nooit een realistische oplossing voor gevonden.

Bestonden dit soort vellen maar 20 jaar eerder! Had me heel wat gedoe met de buren gescheeld...Deze vellen klinken heel zacht en je kunt zo zonder problemen tot diep in de nacht doorspelen! Ik gebruik ze i.c.m. de low volume bekkens van Zildjian. Voor iets meer toon en attack heb ik er een falam slam pad opgeplakt. Werkt uitstekend! Een betere oplossing voor stil oefenen is er wat mij betreft niet. En voor de prijs hoef je het niet te laten! Aanrader!

Dit vel klinkt superzacht! De rebound van de klopper voelt iets anders aan, het voelt aan als een gaasvel (meshhead) van een duurder electronisch drumstel. Dit echter went echter erg snel. Wanneer ik dit vel gebruik, heb ik rods als stokken zodat het volume meer op elkaar afgestemd is.
