General

Designed with professional sound engineers in mind, the API 3124MV 4-Channel Microphone Preamp features a built-in mixer and an AP2516 input transformer that combines with API 2520 op-amps to guarantee first-class pre-amped sound wiped clean of noise. The output level can be varied and, in addition to 48V phantom power switches per channel, you're kitted out with a 20dB PAD switch so you can attenuate your microphone or line signal as needed. API has also mounted insert/return jack ports for each channel, plus a Hi-Z input that can handle +20dB and is routed straight to the op-amp — doing away with the need for an extra transformer or DI box. Able to handle an impressive 65dBs of gain, the API 3124MV Mic Pre comes finished with a stereo panner and an XLR output.
