The Lake People F311-Q is a four-channel microphone preamplifier designed specifically for location recordings and direct-to-tape sessions. Whilst many competitors control gain via a simple, sensitive potentiometer, Lake People uses precise 12-step switches; this ensures that every setting is exactly repeatable and identical across channels. With a noise floor of -129 dB at 60 dB gain, you’ll hear your recording, not your kit. For those who need to rely on consistency on location, that’s exactly what matters.
