The SPL Pre One proves that simplicity can be a good thing. This 2-channel microphone preamp is all about uncompromising amplified mic sound and, just its more expensive SPL siblings, runs on higher voltages to ensure squeaky-clean sound and a massive dynamic range. What's great is that the second channel can also be used for Hi-Z instruments like electric guitars and basses, making the Pre One an excellent studio upgrade.
