If you've got a number of MIDI devices of different ages and with different types of connectors, finding a way to connect them together can often be a problem. If this sounds familiar to you, then iConnectivity's mio4 MIDI interface is the solution. It will ensure that all your MIDI devices can communicate with each other without problem, no matter the age or type of connector used. All standard MIDI connectors are supported including MIDI USB, 5-pin DIN and even MIDI via ethernet. Functions including MIDI merge and routing are fully integrated, giving you a better workflow. The mio4 can be used with 2 PCs simultaneously but this can be increased to 6 PCs over an ethernet network.

Wrote the following about iConnectivity mio4 MIDI

Erg fijn om eindelijke een midi interface te hebben die alles aan elkaar kan knopen:
- midi (4x in/out)
- usb midi devices
- usb midi hosts (2x)
- rtp midi (max 4 connecties over netwerk)
Vooral dat laatste maakt het bijvoorbeeld ook makkelijk tablets aan te sluiten.

De standaard beheer software Auracle haalt niet het maximale uit het apparaat, maar met de oudere iConnectifity tool iConfig kan uitgebreide routing gemaakt worden tussen alle aansluitingen. Je kan hierdoor ook bijvoorbeeld een usb midi controller, zonder tussen komst van computer, op een midi device aansluiten. Met de iConfig kan je de configuratie tevens als presets op disk opslaan.

Met de geheel metalen behuizing komt de bouwkwaliteit robuust over.
