General

Needless to say, larger keyboards have more room for functions and features than their less extensive counterparts. Novation's new Launchkey 49 MK3 is no exception to this rule, and compared to the 35 and 37-note models, gives you nine additional faders and more than enough options to control your favourite plug-ins. To spark inspiration, the keys have been improved and Novation added a number of creative tools such as an arpeggiator, chord mode and scale mode. In scale mode, the keyboard thankfully helps you to avoid playing notes from the wrong scale.

The Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3: Extensive Software Pack

At this point, coloured pads are inextricably linked to Ableton Live. This MIDI keyboard has sixteen of them and comes with a free copy of Ableton Live Lite, making for the ideal beat-spitting combination of a versatile controller and a brilliant piece of DAW software. What's more, the Launchkey 49 comes with various virtual instruments and effects: Expressive Strings from Spitfire Audio, keyboards from XLN Audio, Klevgrand T0Verb and more. Looks like the time to produce is now!

Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Upgraded from my old LX 49, despite being synth weighted keys I think the keybed on this is much better (my previous keybed was supposedly semi-weighted).

The feature set is also great for a relatively cheap keyboard, well worth the money.

Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Koopje!

Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard

Klasse!

Novation LaunchKey 49 MK3 USB/MIDI Keyboard
