With firmware update version 1.1, Novation introduce the new Strum Mode function. Exclusive to the Launchkey Mini MKIII and Launchkey MKIII; Strum Mode adds an entirely fresh dimension to crafting melodies.

Strum mode for Launchkey Mini MKIII and Launchkey MKIII
Thanks to this firmware update, the Novation Launchkey Mini MKIII and Launchkey MKIII gain access to Strum Mode. Easy to use, Strum Mode is simply activated by holding down notes and then can be controlled via the mod strip of the Launchkey Mini MKIII or the mod wheel of the Launchkey MKIII, and can be used alongside other Launchkey hardware arpeggiator modes.
Updates for the Launchkey Mini MKIII
Besides the addition of Strum Mode, the Launchkey Mini MKIII gets a few extra updates, including some tweaks to essential features, as requested by the Novation Community:
- Adjustable pad brightness
- Toggle pad velocity
- Toggle MIDI clock output
- Double-tap shift function for arp and fixed chord modes
