Sonarworks Reference 4 Studio Edition with Microphone

I got it on sale and thought it was still probably an expensive toy... now I realize it's cheap at full price. The set up is a bit long-winded but it's very clear and obviously works, because the results are great. I thought I'd just be fixing a few frequency issues with my room, but honestly the biggest change was the difference it made to the stereo field - I'd never realized how off my centre was. Night and day, can't live without it now.

it's one of these things that once you do it, there's no coming back. My sound system now sounds crap if I turn this off. To be fair, my room has some serious acoustic problems, but I was still amazed by how well Reference handled them. my mixes sounds much better

Behringer X-TOUCH DAW Controller

I have been looking at control surfaces for a while, most of them being out of my price range until the X touch came along. I must admit its been a fantastic purchase, my work flow has really increased and I feel like I am getting better results quicker. I use this with Logic X and it works great. I am still working through all the features, but I am loving the automation tools, the jog wheel and the flexibility you get with the scribble strips to name a few, but in truth I am pretty much impressed all round. The only negative so far for me is the LED levels for each track could be more responsive, and just a bit better all round, you can pretty much only use them to see if your track is clipping as they are nowhere near as responsive as the DAW meters, by no means a show stopper but worth mentioning.

Behringer X-TOUCH DAW Controller

Zoals altijd snel geleverd. Het was even goed uitzoeken hoe de DAW (Reason Studios) aan te sturen. Er bleek een custom remote map met een betere layout voor Reason te zijn (www jaexx.com) en waarmee bv de hele channelstrip van de mixer kan worden bediend. Robuust apparaat wat met deze map een zeer waardevolle toevoeging is!
