Wrote the following about Novation Launchpad Pro MK3 64-Pad Grid MIDI Controller

This is a superb piece of gear. I have been working fully 'in the box' for the last 15 years, with the exception of a small 25-key controller keyboard. As my use of Ableton has increased, I've found myself wanting to get more 'hands on' with controlling it. I had an original Push for a while which was very good and naturally was leaning towards a Push2 also. However, when I saw the Launchpad Pro had a lot of my favourite functionality from the Push (step sequencer) at around half the price, then I thought it was worth a go. This is a brilliantly thought out and executed product. I'm still only scratching the surface of what it can do but it is easy and intuitive to get started. Highly recommend reading the manual properly to get a full handle on what it can do. Not having a screen means you do need to give some thought and understanding to the various modes, lights, and functions. It's time well spent and also good fun. The build quality is fantastic and the pads feel great. I am looking forward to trying it as a standalone MIDI sequencer for some jamming. Really love this thing. Highly recommended. As always, a brilliant service from Bax. Great communications and fast delivery.

Apparaatje werkt goed, degelijk, fijn dat iedere poort met een knopje te bedienen is, en is zoals verwacht stabiel met eigen stroomvoeding. Al met al goed product, snelle levering.

Ik heb deze hub besteld omdat ik mijn XDJ1000 mk2’s aan mijn laptop wilde koppelen als controller voor Rekordbox. Doen precies wat het moeten doen, apparatuur werkt vlot en weinig kans op haperingen omdat het een powered hub is.
