Many small MIDI keyboards with 25 keys we have already seen. And for many (small) mobile tasks, that will really be sufficient. But... that one extra octave... would also be nice. That half tank of petrol that then comes with the price. You know what? We'll just do it! We're going for the Novation Launchkey Mini 37 MK4, so three octaves of mini keys. Still compact, but just a little extra playability. A lovely keyboard for mobile producers who don't feel like entering their notes with a mouse.

New and improved in the Novation Launchkey MK4

This Launchkey also comes with a nice pile of software. Entirely in the tradition that has been playing for years now. With this Launchkey you get a nice set of virtual instruments, such as synths, but also high-end amps from Orchestral Tools for example - a name of note! DAW integration is extensive, with even more DAW packages supported, with added depth. The display then; it is modest, but tremendously sharp thanks to OLED technology! The pads have been enhanced with polyphonic aftertouch, so the path to expression is open there. There's a chord mode, and there are scales. So you can play in a key that therefore keeps sounding correct. The arpeggiator has also been improved, for even more ideas when you're in writer's block.
