Warm Audio Revives WA-14 Vintage Austrian Microphone

Half a year ago, Warm Audio turned the studio world upside down with their replica of the world-famous and loved studio microphone, the WA-87. Now, with the WA-14, the brand is making this classic Austrian sound very accessible by giving this large-diaphragm condenser mic a Cinemag transformer and an exact copy of the famous CK-12 capsule.

Just like its Austrian example, the WA-14 is capable of capturing just about any audio source with great accuracy, particularly drums (overhead), acoustic guitar, piano, and vocals. Thanks to its switchable directional characteristics and the -10 and -20 pad, unusual stereo settings and loud audio sources are no problem whatsoever.
