We already told you about the new Genelec studio monitors and subwoofers, which are part of the SAM product line. Those were the easy products, however, this 9301A speaker interface is a little more complex. Don't be too daunted, though, because it has plenty to offer!

Of the many new products presented at the Musikmesse in Frankfurt, some, like this new acoustic guitar from Yamaha, are real standouts. Yamaha themselves refer to the TransAcoustic system as revolutionary and it's not hard to see why. The Yamaha LL-TA dreadnought and the LS-TA triple oh models produce a sound that'll make you think you're playing in a room with great acoustics no matter where you are. And they do this without the need for an amplifier.

Belgian professional audio company Audac have introduced five new amplifiers. These class D model's names all begin with the letters EPA and come in three 2-channel versions and two 4-channel versions. They automatically switch themselves to Standby mode when there is no audio signal and with passive cooling they are virtually maintenance free.

SPL has plenty to show off this year at the Frankfurt Musikmesse. In the Pro-Fi series, the famous brand introduces the next steps in combining studio technology and high-fidelity. They're introducing the Phonitor X and Phonitor e headphone amplifiers, as well as the new Director preamp and DA converter. What's more, they've also got the new PQ Mastering Equalizer for mastering studio technicians.

Showtec has done it. They've managed to develop an alternative to the halogen lamps in their Sunstrip Active. That's right, you won't need expensive halogens any more. From now on, you can use much more affordable and energy-saving LED bulbs without sacrificing the characteristics of this light effect.
