General
While slapped with a friendly price tag, the Yamaha YOB-432MF Oboe boasts pro-grade sound and comes equipped with an F-resonance key so you can make a forked F sound like a regular F and more easily transition to other notes from there. The upper joint body was drilled out slightly more around the bore and tone-holes before being injected with thermoplastic ABS resin to form the inner body — a special technique that helps preserve as much as 90% of the wooden part of the build while maintaining a natural look that's barely distinguishable from conventional, all-wooden models.
