Yamaha's CBR series was primarily developed to offer a lot of power, high sound quality and good portability. As such, Yamaha ensured that these speakers would be suited for a wide range of applications, from FOH use to use as floor monitors, and even for rigging configurations. The CBR15 is the largest model in the series and it features a 15-inch woofer for the bass, with a compression driver for the trebles. It's easy to connect via a SpeakON connector or via the 6.35mm jack connector.

A lot of power yet still compact

The CBR15 features a plastic housing that keeps it lightweight and easy to handle, yet rugged at the same time. Despite the fact that the housing is made of plastic, this speaker can still produce a lot of volume. To be precise, it can achieve up to 250 Watts of continuous power. Furthermore, thanks to the innovative design of the horn, this speaker has a rectangular dispersion pattern, meaning that you'll reach more of your public and you'll do it with better, clearer audio - even at high volumes. In order to ensure that your tweeter doesn't blow out, this speaker is also equipped with a protection system. Applications of the CBR15

On the top of the cabinet you'll find a number of rigging points that allow you to fly the speaker or mount it to the ceiling (with an optional ceiling mount), making it a great choice for fixed installations in pubs and clubs! The versatile CBR15 can also be used as a floor monitor, as it features a slanted side that allows you to set it up at a 50-degree angle. If you use two CBR15 floor monitors and mirror them with one another, then you can enjoy an even more defined sweet spot.
