Hij past niet op de nieuwere Standaard Precision USA (uit 2004) die ik heb. Ik merkte dit pas bij montage.
Ik moest de potmeter gaten van 8 naar 10 mm uitruimen en het gat/sleuf voor de afstelsleutel van de hals heb ik zelf gevreesd, dat was mij ook niet opgevallen op de Bax foto, daarna paste hij bijna want hij klemt toch nog iets tegen de elementen aan.
Tevens zitten er 2 gaatjes in voor de beschermkap van de elementen, die kap zit niet op nieuwere Precisions. Aantal schroefgaten 13 stuks klopte bij mij wel en zaten precies goed.
Volgens de Catalogus op de site van Boston is hij bedoeld voor Vintage Precision bas en nog wat andere Precisions. Als je niet wil aanpassen en de 2 gaatjes voor lief wil nemen dan moet je deze niet nemen voor een Standaard Precision.
De omschrijving op de Bax site is niet compleet. Goed naar de foto kijken al kan je de diameter van je potmeters natuurlijk niet zien. Je kan het zien aan gat/sleuf voor de stelsleutel van de hals denk ik.
