I have used one in prev band.
I purchased the Boss VE 500 vocal processor and tried a budget assignable footswitch with it but did get erroneous results. Thus I bought the FS6 as I knew it does the job well and reliably.
Only problems I have with the set up is the foot switch and VE500 dont communicate switched status, so it reduces my very creative ability of song specific setups, but none the less is very very yseable both in operation AND the physical size if the footswitches helping reduce "Stomping" errors.

Ik heb een FS-6, een FS-5U en een FS-5L. Waar de FS-5U zonder stroombron kan functioneren heeft de FS-6 een batterij nodig. En uitschakelen? Nee, dat kan niet, de plug moet eruit. Erg onhandig als je de FS-6 plaatst op een effectboard of als je bij een optreden vooraf een soundcheck hebt gedaan en je wilt vervolgens het podium op kunnen lopen om met hooguit een druk op een knop al je apparatuur op te starten. Maar nee, je moet de FS-6 ook nog aansluiten of als je deze aangesloten hebt gelaten dan is de batterij waarschijnlijk leeg als je het podium op komt. En hoe dan ook, je moet er toch niet aan denken dat tijdens een optreden de batterij leeg raakt?! En dat van een apparaat wat eigenlijk geen batterij nodig heeft. Had ik dit vooraf geweten dan had ik twee stuks FS-5U gekocht.
Wat zal ik doen? Misschien dat ik de FS-6 extern van stroom ga voorzien zodat hij aan en uit gaat met de rest van mijn apparatuur. De stroom haal ik dan vanaf mijn GX-100. In dat geval wordt het even prutsen want hier is het allemaal niet voor gemaakt maar het gaat vast lukken. Of toch maar een FS-5U erbij kopen en de FS-6 in de kast zetten of verkopen? Ik denk het laatste.
Overigens, de FS-5L heeft min of meer hetzelfde probleem als de FS-6 alleen heeft deze geen mogelijkheid om de batterij te vervangen. Hier lijkt leeg te betekenen "gooi maar weg". Ondoordachte producten, als je het mij vraagt.

Ik gebruik dit pedaal op mijn Roland blues Cube en tevens voor de NUX MG30 effectpedaal / modeler. (Scene select). Dit is mogelijk doordat de FS-6 van BOSS is uitgerust met switches waarmee je de mode en polariteit kunt instellen per kanaal (A en B). Dit maakt het pedaal zeer universeel. Pedaal werkt perfect voor deze toepassingen. Zeer stevig gebouwd. Snel geleverd door Bax met de gebruikelijke goede service. Aan/uit schakelaar was niet niet verkeerd geweest. Maar alsnog perfect pedaal.

Prima schakelaar. Degelijk uitgevoerd. Snel geleverd. Ik had wat servicevragen, die zijn door de medewerker van de klantenservice snel en afdoende en vriendelijke beantwoord.

Stevige, degelijke voetschakelaar. Ik gebruik hem met de Boss DR-01S Rhythm Partner drumcomputer. Werkt (lang) op een 9 volt batterijtje, dus wel loskoppelen wanneer je hem niet gebruikt. Leds geven duidelijk de modi aan. Fijne dubbele voetschakelaar.

Prima voetschakelaar. Ik gebruik deze voetschakelaar in combinatie met de Boss RC 3 Looper, waardoor de bediening van de Looper handiger en eenvoudiger wordt.
Denk er wel om , dat de voetschakelaar op een batterij werkt. Dus nagebruik uitschakelen.

Zeer degelijke footswitch, kwaliteit die je van Boss mag verwachten! Handig om zo'n dubbele schakelaar met één kabel aan een geschikt apparaat te koppelen. Ik heb 'm aan de GT-1000CORE hangen, werkt perfect. Inderdaad op zich wel jammer dat er standaard geen ingang voor 9V voeding op zit. En een aparte aan/uit schakelaar: je moet de kabel eruit halen, anders blijft hij aan staan. Daarom geen 5 sterren, maar verder wel een prima footswitch.

Bon produit, simple et efficace. Pas donné quand même. Le seul bémol vient du fait qu'il n'y a pas d'interrupteur on/off et qu'il faille débrancher le câble à chaque fois, sinon il reste actif et la pile se vide.
