General
The renowned Audix D6 is one of the few kick drum microphones that yields great results out of the box and without EQ. No matter how loud or large your kick drum is, the Audix effortlessly picks up the deepest bass tones, with great clarity and attack. It can handle a high SPL of 144 dB and features a wide frequency response of 30 Hz to 15 kHz.
The Unadulterated Power of the D6
The D6, which comes including a microphone clip and pouch, does precisely what it's made for without the need for any extensive EQ settings. Many a sound engineer has been baffled by the fact that the loudest kick sounds can be picked up and reproduced immediately with this mic, without any EQ adjustments. This dynamic microphone can also be used for large toms and bass guitar cabinets.

Onze AKG D112 was helaas overleden... waarvan plechtig afscheid genomen.
momenteel zijn we eigenlijk best happy met de Audix D6
zoveel beter dan de 112 qua sound en vooral ook weinig overspraak/bleed.
echt Kicken dit ding!!!
je gewenste geluid bepaal je lekker zelf, door (eenmalig) de juiste positie te bepalen. (in ons geval is dit net door het gat iets gekanteld naar beneden voor een mooie warme diepe punch, maar hangt natuurlijk van je gear af, en smaak (Pop/Rock is ons ding) wil je meer attack (Metal) dan zoek je het dieper en/of meer richting klopper. met de EQ klooien kan alsnog, maar in ons geval gewoon niet nodig. zonder enige twijfel een aanrader!! Service van Bax was weer top zoals altijd!

Veel verschillende kick mics gebruikt, maar dit is voor mij de beste!
Geeft een modern geluid wat in de mix nog maar weinig aangepast hoeft te worden (afhankelijk van wat je wil natuurlijk).

Eerst wilde ik de Beta 52a bestellen maar die verkoopt Bax niet meer.
Toch ben ik zeer enthausiast over deze kick microfoon. Beetje schuin door het bassdrum gat en je krijgt een goede sound met attack én low end.
