VOX NT15C1-CL Night Train G2 guitar amplifier combo

The 'CL' in the VOX NT15C1-CL stand for 'Classic', and when you experience this amp it will be clear why! This version of the 15W NT15C1 tube amp from the famous Night Train series has been given a first-rate vintage look, complete with an attractive grill cloth and black vinyl covering. You'll also find that this package offers plenty of possibilities, and as such you can get a sound ranging from old-fashioned crunch to a modern hi-gain. Two EL84 power amp tubes, three 12AX7 preamp tubes and a famous Celestion G12M Greenback speakers are responsible for that excellent all-tube sound, and for even more sound variation the amp is also equipped with a superb reverb feature.

NT15C1-CL: two channels

The NT15C1-CL Night Train G2 is equipped with two channels. The Girth channel is intended for guitarists who want that loud modern high-gain sound, and the channel can be further adjusted with volume and gain knobs. You can use the small channel switch on the amp or the separately available VFS2A foot switch to change over to the Bright channel. The Bright channel offers the legendary VOX sound that varies from bright cleans to delightful crunches. Furthermore, both channels can be adjusted with great precision via the 3-way EQ, which you can actually turn off on the Bright channel via the Thick switch to get a fatter sound. Of course, the effect loop is also quite handy for connecting all of your pedals.
