The black-mahogany Yamaha P155 stage piano combines a beautiful yet simple design with a rich, full sound. Yamaha has digitised the sound of a full CSII concert grand using Pure CF Advanced Wave Memory sampling technology to provide this stage piano with the best possible sound. Every small nuance is incomparably reproduced. The 88 keys with Graded Hammer technology ensure an intuitive and realistic resistance so you have total control and can play with just the right strength.
P155 stage piano: Advanced Wave Memory
The Yamaha P155 stage piano has a keen eye for detail and this shines through with every note it plays. Thanks to the Advanced Wave Memory sample technology, dynamic stereo samples from acoustic instruments are reproduced with great detail so you can clearly hear every subtle nuance. The Graded Hammer keyboard is made in such a way that low notes require more pressure than the higher ones, which guarantees total control and a realistic feel.
Built-in speakers and USB port
You can get going quickly with the user-friendly Yamaha P155 stage piano black-mahogany. The built-in speakers ensure the pure sound reproduction of every note you play. Would you rather practise without disturbing your surroundings? Simply connect your headphones via the headphone jack. With the USB port you can change different settings and exchange MIDI files. Additionally, the P155 has 50 built-in classical piano pieces on board and the included music stand completes the picture.

Wrote the following about Yamaha P155 stage piano black-mahogany
Geluid:
De geluidskwaliteit is fantastisch. De twee standaard piano geluiden klinken heel helder en er kunnen ook combinaties van geluiden worden gemaakt. Zo kan er bijvoorbeeld worden gekozen om de piano te combineren met strings. Je creëert hierdoor een zacht achtergrond-strijkorkest wanneer je aan het spelen bent. Zeer mooi om rustige muziek te spelen. Het geluid per piano kan ook nog worden aangepast. Zo kan je het geluid heel fel laten klinken, maar ook heel zacht.
Toetsen:
Doordat de toetsen gewogen zijn voelt de piano als een echte piano aan. Ik moet wel zeggen dat voor mij persoonlijk even wennen was, aangezien ik een "echte" piano gewend was waarvan de toetsen zeer gemakkelijk konden worden ingedrukt. De P-155 biedt iets meer weerstand, maar daardoor heb je wel minder kans dat je een noot "per ongeluk" indrukt.
Voorgeprogrammeerde pianostukken:
De voorgeprogrammeerde pianostukken van o.a. Bach, Chopin en Beethoven kunnen worden afgespeeld tijdens het piano spelen. Het tempo kan, om te oefenen, worden bijgesteld. Hier zit ook het enige minpunt van deze piano: het tempo kan alleen gewijzigd worden van -50 tot +50. Bij het oefenen van sommige stukken van Chopin is het tempo naar -50 bijstellen niet voldoende. Ik had liever gezien dat er geen limiet op het wijzigen van het tempo zat. Dit minpunt is echter zo minimaal dat ik het niet afhaal van het totaal aantal sterren van dit product.
Aansluitingen:
Er zitten, voor het opnemen van geluid, zeer veel aansluitingen op. Gewoon wat je zou verwachten van een professionele piano. Denk hierbij aan MIDI-In/out en 2x AUX out voor L en R. Tevens zijn er 2 koptelefoon aansluitingen beschikbaar. Zelfs een USB-aansluiting is beschikbaar voor het direct opslaan van MIDI files wanneer deze worden ingespeeld.
