General
Tascam's SS-R250N solid-state audio recorder is extremely versatile. It supports 24-bit, 96 kHz recording as well as a number of different recording media and has an impressive number of connection possibilities. In addition to the traditional XLR connectors, it also supports AES/EBU multi-channel audio, RCA and S/PDIF. The player can be controlled with a separately-available foot switch or remote. The network functionality allows you to stream audio to other locations, or it can be used to automatically carry out downloading and uploading processes via FTP.
Reliability
It's clear that the engineers at Tascam have carefully considered how audio data is distributed and stored. It's possible to protect your audio files with a password, for instance, to prevent unauthorised access allowing you share files securely. The SS-R250N is equipped with a pre-recording function which ensures you'll never miss the first few seconds of a recording as it will be automatically stored in the buffer. There's also the possibility to save recordings to two different memory cards at the same time.
Media formats and recording functions
Audio files can be saved on SD cards or via USB. SD, SDHC and SDXC cards with a storage capacity of up to 128 GB are fully supported and this is the same for USB devices that can be connected to the front of the SS-R250N. It's possible to place markers in your recordings so that you can easily search for and find them afterwards. There are also handy features like Auto Cue and Auto Ready built in so that you can quickly find the next track. Finally, there's the Auto Level Control function that automatically adjusts the recording level to prevent clipping.

'je kunt ook van af media Sever afspelen . het is wel beetje jammer dat er geen handleiding is in het Nederlands .daar heb ik zelf geen last van. maar er zijn ook mensen die dat makkelijke vinden .veel aansluitingen aan de achter kant .en doet niet onder oppo speler die boven 1400 euro was .menu van de speler is basic .maar doe wat hij moet doen. en is ook goed gebouwd . ik had even pech .dat mijn eerst speler bij aankomst niet goed was . bij blu ray afspelen had ik een geluid dat er vliegtuig motor afging .even gebeld en twee dagen later had ik nieuwen .en deze speelt nu de blu-ray stil af . deze speler is goed café of voor mensen thuis bioscoop hebben of feest zaal .heb ook nog firmware update gedaan . deze was om kleine fout op te lossen . ik moet zeggen het is zijn geld waard

Voor een optimale werking beperk je best het aantal liedjes per SD-kaart tot 999. Hiervoor volstaat een 16GB geheugenkaart.
Je kan geen SD-kaarten gebruiken die via een PC werden geformateerd. SD-kaarten geformateerd via het toestel zelf, werken prima.
