Thanks to that specialised knowledge of their field, Shure has been able to produce many excellent products. Take the VP64AL microphone for instance, which was designed specifically for use in interviews and TV, film and radio recordings. Its neodymium magnet allows for high output, while also maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio. Furthermore, its omnidirectional pickup pattern allows the mic to pick up on everything that happens around it, no matter the volume. All of this happens in a 50 Hz to 12 kHz frequency range, further assuring you that everything is picked up properly.

The VP64 is available in two different sizes: the 7.8” (200 mm) VP64A, and this one, the 9.6” (244 mm) VP64AL. This particular model gives you a bit more reach, which is especially handy for journalists and the like. It's easier to position, so that you'll be able to get higher quality recordings than your competitors - unless they also have a VP64AL, of course!
