General

In 1986, the third Slayer album 'Reign in Blood' was released. This album marked Slayer's breakthrough. Drummer Dave Lombardo used Paiste's brand new RUDE cymbals on this record. These days, he is still faithful to his first cymbal love. To celebrate 35 years since Paiste developed the RUDE cymbals, and because Dave Lombardo has been such an influential drummer especially in the rise and popularity of this cymbal series, a special new cymbal was added.

The Reign: 22-inch Power Ride

Anyone who knows Dave Lombardo's style a little knows that the man likes solid and technical playing. This extremely thick cymbal has a metallic, clearly definable sound, even at loud volumes. The large cup has a rich, somewhat aggressive sound. The grooves add warmth and depth. The 22-inch 'The Reign' is the ideal ride for extreme drummers.
