Besides the fact that the GSR200SM-NGT is beautiful to look at, its J and P-style pickups also make it quite versatile. They allow for a well-defined, deep sound that gives you the best of both worlds - the warmth of a Jazz bass as well as the brightness of a Precision-type bass. Furthermore, it's a breeze to play, thanks to the slender neck and the rosewood fretboard. Finally, the active Phat II bass boost equaliser helps add a nice rough edge to your core sound.
Ibanez GSR200SM-NGT Natural Gray Burst
As we mentioned before, the compact, detailed body, slender neck and low action make the GSR200-CNB extremely comfortable to play. The maple body also features a gorgeous spalted maple top, giving the instrument a luxurious look. It also features a rosewood fretboard that only adds to the warmth and definition of this bass guitar's core sound. What's more, the combination of two Dynamix J and P pickups guarantees a warm, rich and driving tone, while the B10 bridge ensures plenty of sustain. Finally, the active boost given by the Phat II equaliser adds another layer to this guitar's highly complete sound.

Het is mijn allereerste instrument. Ik moet zeggen. Hij oogt en klinkt super gaaf. Stevige sound.
Het zal nog wel even duren eer ik dat een deftig stuk kan spelen maar ondertussen amuseer ik me top.
En als ik niet speel , is het een eye-catcher in mijn woonkamer.
Aangezien dit mijn eerste toestel is en nog meer spullen nodig had, had ik die laten leveren bij Bax - Antwerpen. Daar hebben zij mij schitterend verder geholpen.

Hij speelt lekker, maar ik heb weinig vergelijkingsmateriaal aangezien ik ooit nog maar 1 andere basgitaar heb gehad, en dat is al jaren geleden. Hij ziet er prachtig uit, en dat is ook een beetje waarop ik 'm heb uitgekozen. Qua materiaal voelt hij aardig solide aan wat mij betreft, en in combinatie met een Vox amplug heb ik er erg veel plezier van. Misschien niet een heel erg nuttige review, maar dat van die fret buzz vind ik wel echt een puntje.
