De Warwick Streamer: The Highlights

The distinctive, 3-part maple neck of the Streamer LX 4 is screwed to the American cherry body and helps shape the bright, full sound of this bass. This lightweight wood, with a sharp form and bevelled edges, ensure playing comfort for years. The body is finished with a high polished stain and mounted with Warwick's very own two-piece and fully adjustable 3D bridge. Other highlights are the adjustable Just-A-Nut III string-nut and an included set of Warwick Security Locks to keep your beloved bass attached to your strap.

Original MEC Electronics

The Warwick Pro Series Streamer LX 4 is fitted with two active pickups from the German manufacturer, MEC. A J-type single-coil is mounted at the bridge for a tight and clear tone, and a P-type split single-coil is mounted in the middle for that well-known warmth and punch. The controls include a balance button to blend the pickups and an active boost/cut control for both the treble and bass, giving this instrument endlessly versatile tone. The screwless cover plate on the back offers quick and easy access to the electronics in case any future maintenance is needed.
