When you want to buy a new mouthpiece for your saxophone, there are a number of things you need to think about. For example, the material the mouthpiece is made of is incredibly important for the sound. Otto Link's OLMA6 Super Tonemaster is a metal mouthpiece for alto saxophone. Metal resonates differently from plastic and a metal mouthpiece offers the musician a clear sound with lots of power and dynamics. Metal mouthpieces are therefore mostly used for rather modern work. The tip opening is also important. With its number 6 opening of 1.91 mm, this is an extremely smoothly playable mouthpiece.
